Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs Manchester United for December 19
How Tottenham Have Lined Up Recently
Tottenham’s injury crisis hit a new low in the game against Southampton. They were already missing nine first-team players for the clash when, in the 28th minute, Destiny Udogie went down injured. That meant Pedro Porro, rested for the game, had to play 62 minutes. In goal, Fraser Forster kept his first clean sheet since Guglielmo Vicario has been injured.

Djed Spence made his first Premier League start of the season and made an instant impact, assisting James Maddison’s first-minute opener. After Udogie’s injury, the former Nottingham Forest full-back moved to the left. Archie Gray and Radu Dragusin switched sides and put in a much better display than against Rangers.

In midfield, Lucas Bergvall made his first-ever Premier League start. The 18-year-old played the full game and completed 98% of his passes. Pape Matar Sarr got on the scoresheet and was also very accurate with his passing, completing 96%. Maddison scored his sixth and seventh goals of the season and cemented his spot in the starting lineup.
In attack, Brennan Johnson was benched for a front three of Heung-min Son, Dominic Solanke, and Dejan Kulusevski. The former and latter both scored and, with Spurs’ captain being replaced at half-time, they are likely to keep their places for the visit of Manchester United.
Tottenham’s Recent Form and Tactics
Tottenham’s win over Southampton was their first in six games. One thing about Postecoglou’s side this season is that when they win, they win big. Spurs have the second-highest goal difference in the Premier League despite being 10th. Only Chelsea have scored more league goals than them this season and only Liverpool and Arsenal have conceded less.

Despite this, Tottenham have lost as many games as they’ve won in the league this season. Like Spurs, Manchester United also had a big win last weekend, defeating rivals Manchester City away from home. Victory here has the chance to kickstart either side’s season and send them on their way to winning a trophy.
Tottenham Injuries and Suspensions to Consider
Tottenham are in the middle of an injury crisis that got worse against Southampton. Udogie (thigh) and Son (knock) were substituted with injuries before the second half. Both players should be okay to play some part on Thursday but may not be risked from the start.
