During that run, Des Buckingham’s side have scored ten goals but conceded 21, including nine in those two recent losses.
As for Millwall, they faced Portsmouth on Wednesday night but the game was postponed due to Fratton Park and the local area experiencing a power failure. Prior to that, they are unbeaten in their last eight games, winning four on the spin including victories over Burnley and Leeds.
Despite their good form, the Lions only have one win on the road this season, but have drawn four of their seven fixtures. The U’s saw their unbeaten home record come to an end against Swansea and that heavy defeat against Boro also came at Grenoble Road.
Oxford have no new injury concerns ahead of this game and will be hopeful that Peter Kioso is available after picking up an illness while on international duty. Elliott Moore is available after missing the trip to Bramall Lane through suspension.
Millwall are without Calum Scanlon and Jake Cooper, while Billy Mitchell and Adam Mayor are both doubts for the fixture.
These sides last met in the Carabao Cup back in 2019, with the U’s winning on penalties after a 2-2 draw at Grenoble Road. The Lions are unbeaten in their last five travels to Oxford, winning four.
Predicted line-up: Jamie Cumming, Greg Leigh, Ciaron Brown, Elliott Moore, Peter Kioso, Will Vaulks, Cameron Brannagan, Idris El Mizouni, Tyler Goodrham, Matt Phillips, Dane Scarlett.
Prediction: Oxford United 1-1 Millwall
