Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Chelsea in Premier League
How Arsenal Have Lined up Recently
Due to limited options, Mikel Arteta has been forced to name very similar lineups for all Premier League and Champions League matches recently.

Benjamin White returned to the lineup on Wednesday night, while Mikel Merino partnered Thomas Partey for the first time.
Arsenal Recent Form and Tactics
Fair to say, Arsenal make the 7.4 mile journey across London in despondent mood.
In mid-week, the Gunners’ unbeaten start to this Champions League campaign came to an end, beaten 1-0 by Internazionale.
The only goal of the night at San Siro came from the penalty spot in first half stoppage time. Merino was penalised by referee István Kovács for a handball that was both innocuous and infuriating in equal measure.
This result though was not a one off.

Arteta’s team have now lost three on the spin away from home in the league or Europe, also beaten 2-0 at Bournemouth and, last weekend, 1-0 by Newcastle.
The Gunners have not lost three successive Premier League away games since December 2021, last doing so without scoring in all three in March 2014, a sequence that featured that infamous 6-0 mauling at Stamford Bridge.
As they prepare to face Chelsea again, Arsenal are actually unbeaten in five visits to the Bridge, despite losing eight of the previous ten.
Starting the weekend seven points adrift league-leaders Liverpool, Arteta’s team surely can’t afford to lose this one.
Arsenal Injuries to Consider
Riccardo Calafiori, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney all remain sidelined.
Meantime, Declan Rice did not travel to Milan in mid-week due to a reported broke toe, but there is optimism he’ll be able to ‘play through the pain’.

In a timely boost, captain Martin Ødegaard came off the bench for a brief cameo in mid-week, so Gooners everywhere will be desperate to see their captain for a little bit longer here, following Wednesday’s amuse-bouche.
Lastly, Raheem Sterling is ineligible to face his parent club, although he’s hardly established himself as a key figure.
