Liverpool Predicted Lineup vs Chelsea

How Liverpool Have Lined-up Recently

Liverpool have lined up with a 4-2-3-1 formation this season, to great effect. Alisson Becker has been starting between the sticks, with Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold the regular full-backs. Kostas Tsimikas did get a start against Crystal Palace. Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk both start in the centre of defence.

Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister start in the midfield. Curtis Jones displaced Dominik Szoboszlai last match, though we expect to see the Hungarian start in this clash. Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah are normally the wingers, however Cody Gakpo started on the left against Crystal Palace. Diogo Jota returned from injury against the Eagles and scored.

Liverpool Injuries and Absentees to Consider

Alisson was substituted off at Selhurst Park, and Slot has revealed that “Alisson is for sure not with us in the upcoming weeks, that’s clear”.  Meanwhile, he revealed that “we’ve got quite some issues from players coming back from the national teams”. Expect to see some change in the lineup.

Wataru Endo is out with illness for this fixture. Harvey Elliott is still out with a foot injury that he picked up on England U21 duty.
