How Liverpool Have Lined-up Recently

Caoimhin Kelleher started the previous game due to Alisson Becker suffering with the flu.

Both Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have returned from injury and occupied the full-back spots. Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate are the centre-backs, but Jarell Quansah has filled in when needed.

Liverpool’s Recent Form and Tactics

It was a fairly comfortable victory for Liverpool over Burnley in the previous match. A 3-1 victory saw four excellent headers hit the back of the net.

The Clarets did not make it easy though, missing a total of four big chances. Kelleher made two important one-on-one saves, whilst David Datro Fofana missed a third entirely.

When asked about players returning before the EFL Cup final, Klopp replied: “I think with Dom [Szoboszlai] it will be around that time, we will see how it exactly works”.
