According to Taecke, it is only a matter of time before Antonio Nusa is officially a Spurs player. The Lilywhites are set to splash over £25 million for the Club Brugge star. The deal has not yet been completed but it is expected to be official in the coming days.

Chelsea were favourites to land Nusa in the summer. However, the player’s entourage decided to stay in Belgium for another season. This will still be the case as Spurs plan to loan out the youngster back to Club Brugge till the end of the current season.

Premier League giants, Arsenal and Liverpool also showed interest in the player according to the report. The transfer fee demanded by the Belgian club proved to be more than what the English clubs were ready to offer.

Fabrizio Romano has also recently reported that the deal is on. However, according to the Italian, Spurs have not sent an official bid yet; the deal could be finalised in the coming days or it could take until the summer window.

Nusa currently plays in the Belgian league for Club Brugge. He is naturally a right-footed left-winger but his versatility and skill set allow him to excel on the right side of the attack as well as through the centre.

The former Stabaek man is a gifted dribbler who possesses blistering pace and acceleration. The teenager is highly skilful on the ball, mesmerizing the fans with his dazzling skills. All these qualities of the player combined with his flair has earned him the nickname of the “Next Neymar”.
