Sigurdsson, Dembele, Vermaelen, Markovic, and Alexis Sanchez Transfer News
Alexis Sanchez
Arsene Wenger has been staunch on his position that Alexis Sanchez will stay an Arsenal player, with or without a fresh deal. And now the manager has the backing of the Board, according to Sky Sports. The Mirror are reporting that the player is now resigned to stay at the club. Note: that is “resigned”, not “re-signed”. Big difference.

Demarai Gray
Leicester City’s Demarai Gray is still being courted by Bournemouth, according to Sky sources. The club had a £20m bid rejected last month, and an improved offer is being reported.
Ousmane Dembele
According to several sources close to the player, Ousmane Dembele is openly acknowledging a desired move to Barcelona. Dortmund, his current club, would certainly do everything in their power to convince him otherwise.
Looks like Ousmane Dembélé on his way to Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund. Incredible talent but €100m? Cost €15m from Rennes last summer

Thomas Vermaelen
Everton are the latest to inquire about the services of former Arsenal and current Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen. The player has had an underwhelming experience at Nou Camp, and a return to the Premier League might suit his style better.
Lazar Markovic
Markovic was left out of the 30-man squad for Liverpool’s trip to Germany in order to participate in the 2017 Audi Cup. He is currently in Italy where he is trying to arrange a transfer to Fiorentina. The Italian club have reportedly been interested in securing his services for a while now, and it is now quite certain he has no future at Anfield. Liverpool’s asking price is £16 million, and should the Italians meet the valuation the deal is likely to be completed quickly.
Done and Dusted
Wesley Sneijder
It appears the former Manchester United player has signed a deal with Ligue 1 side Nice, where he will teamed up with Mario Balotelli.
