Rising Through the Ranks
Journalist David Ornstein, of The Athletic, also wrote about Venkatesham’s decision. The Englishman detailed how the current CEO rose through the ranks of the club after signing on as the English outfit’s head of global partnerships. He was appointed to his current role three years ago and notably helped plan the 2012 Summer Olympics held in London.

Venkatesham’s current role of directing the team’s daily matters will continue. Lately, Arsenal have been performing well both on and off the pitch. Their on-the-field performances have helped stabilise their financial situation, allowing whoever is appointed the new CEO next Summer to inherit a successful team that looks to grow their brand.
Arsenal Season So Far
Arsenal are currently tied for second in the league table, but their goal differential has them sitting fifth at the moment. Their three wins and one draw has only been bested by City’s immaculate performance. The Gunners started off the season securing multiple pieces of silverware, although both cup finals are looked at more as exhibition fixtures.
