The Arsenal youngster topped the voting ahead of Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane who finished second and third respectively. Saka featured in 10 out of 11 of England’s fixtures over the past 12 months racking up seven goals including his first career hat-trick against North Macedonia in June of this year.

Bukayo Saka Adds to his Individual Trophy Cabinet
As well as being England’s Mens Player of the Year for the second season running, the 22-year-old has recently won the PFA Young Player of the Year Award for the 2022/23 campaign. As voted for by his fellow professionals, Saka’s 14 goals and 11 assists last term were enough to merit the impressive trophy.

Despite falling short in their final few games, Arsenal had a terrific campaign last time out and the forward was a huge part of that success.
Picking up Where he Left Off
The Arsenal academy graduate has started the new campaign with exactly the same intensity and consistency that both Arsenal and England fans have relied on over the past few seasons. Already notching up two goals and an assist in just four matches, Saka will be looking to beat his career-best numbers from last year.

The Englishman has not missed a game in either of Arsenal’s past two campaigns and keeping him fit this year will be key for Mikel Arteta’s side to mount a title challenge this time around.
A Big Year for Both Club and Country for Bukayo Saka
The Gunners look stronger than ever before under Mikel Arteta with the arrivals of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, David Raya, and Jurrien Timber.
With 10 points out of a possible 12 in their first four games, they look the most likely to challenge Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City with the North London club looking to build on their second-place finish last time out. The Gunners also will be competing in Europe again this season with Saka looking to inspire his boyhood club to a special Champions League campaign. He will then return to the Three Lions for the Euro 2024 where he and his England teammates will have the weight of the nation once again resting on their shoulders.

The forward is currently away on England duty linking up with teammates Declan Rice, Eddie Nketiah, and Aaron Ramsdale as Gareth Southgate’s side prepares to take on Ukraine and Scotland in the coming days.
