The Portuguese international has made it clear to the West London club that he wants to join the Bundesliga champions. However, the club insist they want to sign a replacement before they let him go.

Unfortunately, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has not been “easy to agree on conditions with” for a transfer for the Danish midfielder. It has been reported that Spurs want £38 million to sanction a deal to sell Hjobjerg.

Fulham & Spurs ‘In Talks’

Charlie Eccleshare has confirmed that Fulham are “in talks” with the North London club over a move for the midfielder. Hojbjerg has not seen much of the pitch under Agne Postecoglou so far this campaign, despite the 28-year-old being a key starter at the club for the past three seasons.

Hojbjerg arrived at Tottenham after spells with Southampton and Bayern Munich. Last year, he provided over ten goal contributions for Spurs, despite being known more for his physical presence rather than his technical prowess.

Now, Fulham want to take advantage of the player being out of favour and bring him to Craven Cottage.

Scott McTominay Targeted if Hjojberg Deal Falls Through

The Tottenham midfielder is not the club’s only option to replace Palhinha, as they are understood to have contacted United to see if a deal for McTominay is possible. Erik ten Hag’s side rejected a previous offer from West Ham this summer for the Scottish footballer that totalled £30 million.
