Tottenham are set to complete yet another transfer this summer as they get off to a flying start in the off-season under new boss Ange Postecoglou.
Tottenham Set to Make Yet Another Signing
A Successful Summer So Far
Spurs have already made a number of positive moves this summer.
They started off by making Dejan Kulusevski’s stay in North London a permanent one in a cut-price, bargain £26 million deal.

Next, the goalkeeper situation needed to be addressed, and, as such, Guglielmo Vicario was signed as a long-term successor to Hugo Lloris, allowing Spurs to modernise in goal. The Italian keeper has already played his first game in a Tottenham shirt, with an at times shaky performance against West Ham United in preseason on Tuesday.
Manor Solomon and James Maddison also joined, bolstering Spurs’ attack, while a clause in Pedro Porro’s contract sees him become a permanent Tottenham player too.

Now, it looks like the North London club are set to make another smart addition, with 18-year-old starlet Ashley Phillips on the verge of joining.
Tottenham to Sign Ashley Phillips
According to James Nursey, Spurs are set to complete the acquisition of Ashley Phillips imminently.
The Lillywhites appear to be capitalising on Blackburn Rovers’ financial condition here, swooping in to make a quick signing. The defender will immediately fly out to Asia to join up with the first team’s preseason tour.
This deal represents some very smart business from Postecoglou’s side, taking advantage of the situation by swiftly sealing the transfer.
While Phillips may not be able to immediately step in and fix the defensive issues plaguing Spurs, he provides a long-term option who could prove invaluable a few years down the line.
