Steve Cooper and his men boast the second-worst goal-scoring record and have also conceded the second-most goals this campaign. Due to their poor start, they find themselves at struggling at rock bottom.
The Nottingham Forest faithful would have been heavily disheartened with their recent results with one win from 11 games. This singular win did come against English heavyweights Liverpool though, so it makes you wonder.
On the other side of the coin, they were played off the park as Arsenal were cutthroat in their approach when the two sides locked horns. Arteta’s side never left second gear and were able to fly past Forest, netting five goals in the process.

With all thanks to their Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur, they narrowly avoided a share of the spoils on the South Coast against Bournemouth as he put one past Mark Travers in injury time. The travelling fans would have felt a huge relief as they made the journey back to the capital.

In their first season back in the top flight, Nottingham Forest have already found defeat at the hands of Tottenham when they suffered a 2-0 defeat. English striker Harry Kane scored two on the afternoon.
Forest’s last win against their upcoming opponents came way, way back in 1997 and it’s fair to say things have changed significantly since then.
The two sides came to blows in the third round of the EFL Cup eight seasons ago when Harry Kane was once again amongst the goals in a comfortable 3-1 landslide.

In the same breath, the plethora of options may hinder Cooper’s ability to field a squad capable of securing entry into the next round. Given the North London club’s firepower, I see this fixture swinging easily in the favour of the visitors.
