Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to leave the club in the final week of the January transfer window, as confirmed by manager Massimiliano Allegri.
The Welsh international has been linked with a move to the Premier League after falling out of favour with Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri. Juventus are desperate to get his reported £400,000 wages of their wage bill and Ramsey’s time in Turin appears to be coming to an end.

It has been a difficult three years for Aaron Ramsey in Italy. A string of injuries has hampered his progress. He has started just 25 Serie A games in three seasons. This season, Ramsey has played just over 100 minutes for Juventus.
Given the enormous wages he is on, it is understandable that Juventus are eager to get rid of him. Ramsey has been out in the cold this season. The likes of Rodrigo Bentancur, Manuel Locatelli, Weston McKennie, and Adrien Rabiot are ahead of him in the pecking order.
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri confirmed in his press conference that Ramsey was leaving. He said: “Aaron’s not with the team as he’s set to leave the club.”
Where Next for Aaron Ramsey?
The Welsh midfielder has been linked with a return to the Premier League. It looked like he was close to a move to Crystal Palace. However, according to Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, they have walked away.
Mokbel also reports that the former Arsenal star has turned down approaches from Newcastle United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Burnley.
Juventus may want to get rid of the Welsh international but given that Ramsey is currently on £400,000 a week, getting rid of him may be easier said than done.
However, Ramsey will surely be eager to get first-team football, particularly given Wales’ crucial World Cup play-off ties coming up in March. Perhaps a loan move would be the best outcome for both the player and the club at this moment in time.
