Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min have the record for the most Premier League goal combinations in a season.
For a record total of 14 goals, Kane and Son have assisted each other, finally breaking the record set by Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton for Blackburn Rovers in 1994/5.
But how do Kane and Son compare to other top-scoring combinations in Premier League history?

The next record Kane and Son are close to breaking is the number of goals they have combined to score in Premier League history.
The duo are just two goals shy of Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard’s 36 goal haul.
This will no doubt be reached by this fantastic pairing. But it is startling that these two players have scored so many goals but are yet to win something for their efforts.
How Do They Compare?
Drogba and Lampard were serial winners at Chelsea, including four Premier League titles. Their goalscoring partnership is no doubt a huge part of that.
Shearer and Sutton’s goal combination record was set when Blackburn Rovers won the Premier League.
But Kane and Son are not alone in scoring hatfuls of goals for little reward.
Most recently, Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore paired to score 10 goals in 2019/20, where Wolves finished seventh.
Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson scored 12 together during the 2018/9 season, which saw Bournemouth finish 14th.
But Kane and Son do not belong in the same bracket as Jimenez and Traore or Fraser and Wilson. They’ve scored 34 league goals together throughout successive seasons, forming an unstoppable twosome across Spurs’ campaigns.
Looking Forward
Tottenham have finally begun to gather momentum having dug themselves out of a wholly different record for losing back to back Premier League matches.
Still in Europe and with the League Cup final to look forward to, Kane and Son might finally be able to touch a trophy at the end of the season.
However, barring a miracle, the Spurs strikers won’t be lifting the Premier League trophy this season. There are some deep flaws within the squad that even Jose Mourinho is struggling to deal with.
But, if Mourinho was to get the rest of the side to fire as well as Son and Kane, they would surely reach the heady heights of Spurs’ yesteryear in the black and white TV era.
Realistically, there are players throughout the squad who are surplus to requirements and cannot reach these levels. There are other players that need some kind of motivation to kick on. And these players may well come into fruition once they’ve tasted glory in the League Cup or Europa League.
Give Mourinho another summer, with a bit of investment to restructure the squad and perhaps he can finally turn Tottenham into a force capable of competing for the Premier League title.
The likes of Kane and Son will undoubtedly be pivotal in achieving more than just individual records, but trophies. More recently they are being supported by the rebirth of Gareth Bale, and the re-emergence of Dele Alli. Even Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela are chipping in.
Tottenham have a truly world-class strikeforce, but their goals will count for little until Moussa Sissoko is holding something heavier than the Audi Cup above his head.
