Barrow have announced the signings of Dan Bramall and Tom Davies. Both players arrive on loan for the rest of the season.
Bramall is a talented, versatile attacker who joins from Barnsley, while Davies is an experienced centre-back who arrives from Bristol Rovers.
These two new arrivals take new Barrow manager Michael Jolley’s January acquisitions to three.

Bramall Brings Much Needed Creativity to The Bluebirds
The talented winger is a product of the Everton academy and had been with them since 2012 until his release in 2019. Barnsley have since snapped him up and have been impressed with his progress.
Bramall has trained with the Barnsley first team and has already impressed manager Valerien Ismael. However, a move to Barrow offers regular football and a chance to gain some valuable experience.
He is a pacey winger with plenty of skills up his sleeve. He isn’t afraid to take people on and loves to create chances and score goals. Bramall is a versatile character who can play in a variety of positions.
From centre-forward to wing-back, Bramall has shown his qualities across a variety of positions. He will be relishing the challenge ahead with a chance to showcase himself in the football league.
Tom Davies Brings Valuable Experience to the Barrow Defence
As well as announcing the arrival of Dan Bramall, the Bluebirds have also signed experienced defender Tom Davies. Like Bramall, Davies joins on loan for the rest of the campaign.
Davies has been battling with a knee injury and hasn’t played for parent club Bristol Rovers. He is working his way back to fitness and Gas manager Paul Tisdale wants Davies to get regular game time.
The 28-year-old defender arrives ready to get some football under his belt as well as ensure Barrow remain a football league club.
Both Bramall and Davies could make their debuts in Barrow’s next game which is a crucial six-pointer with fellow strugglers Grimsby Town. A big game for both sides as Barrow have the chance to pull away from the Mariners in the relegation battle.
Ollie Banks Joins Permanently
Twenty-eight-year-old midfielder Ollie Banks has signed permanently at Holker Street. Banks arrives from League Two rivals Tranmere Rovers.
The central midfielder will be a welcome boost to Jolley’s side as they look to avoid relegation back to the National League.
Banks was part of the Tranmere side that won promotion from League Two in 2018/19.
