Shrewsbury Town manager Steve Cotterill is currently recovering in hospital after spending time in intensive care with coronavirus.
The 56-year-old contracted the virus last week following an outbreak at the League One club.

Speaking ahead of the Shrews’ FA Cup tie against Southampton, assistant manager Aaron Wilbraham said: “To start with, it’s such a strange atmosphere without the Gaffer being around the place. He’s a ball of energy and we have definitely missed him.
“The Gaffer has been really poorly over the last two weeks and was in the Intensive Care Unit over the weekend. He’s had a bad case of COVID and it was quite worrying at some points. We’re all wishing him well and he is getting better.
“He’s starting to crack a couple of jokes and has told me to tell the lads that he’ll be watching from his hospital bed. I know he’s improving, and that is a massive relief to everyone. It has been a crazy time, to be honest, but he is on the mend.”
Cotterill One of Many Affected at Shrewsbury but Only One in Intensive Care
Not only have the Shrews seen their FA Cup tie with Southampton postponed, but four league fixtures have also been affected.
The club, who believe a minimum of ten people have contacted the virus, haven’t been in action since December 29.
As a result, the players only returned to training last week ahead of the rescheduled FA Cup tie against the Saints.
Southampton Face Tricky Shrewsbury FA Cup Tie
Before the postponement of this fixture, Steve Cottrill and his Shrewsbury side were in-form. The League One side were unbeaten in eight league fixtures which included wins over high-flying Hull City and Lincoln City.
Now though, the team are lacking match practice and face a difficult FA Cup tie against an in-form Southampton side.
