Gordon Arrives From Dagenham & Redbridge
Bolton announced they had signed Liam Gordon via their website. The defender arrives on a free transfer from Dagenham and Redbridge and has signed a two-year deal at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Gordon is Bolton’s sixth recruit as Ian Evatt continues his squad re-build following the Trotters relegation to League Two. The defender joins Eoin Doyle, Antoni Sarcevic, George Taft, Brandon Comley and Tom White in joining the Trotters so far this summer.
Gordon made his name at previous club Dagenham and Redbridge. The defender made over 50 appearances, scoring three goals. He did have spells in the Fulham and AFC Wimbledon youth teams before dropping into non-league.
The defender will relish the opportunity to finally play in the Football League.
Pleased to Have Joined The Trotters
Speaking to the Bolton website about his move, Gordon said: “I’m really pleased to get the move sorted.”
“I played against the gaffer when he was at Barrow and after speaking with Tobias (Phoenix) about coming here, I wanted to get it done quickly.”
“I’m looking forward to wearing the shirt and hopefully helping the club to win promotion this season.”
