Burton Albion youngsters Jevan Anderson and Ben Hart have signed contract extensions at the club. The deals will keep the pair at the club until the end of the 2020/21 season.

Buxton Impressed By Burton Youngsters
New Burton Albion manager Jake Buxton has been pleased by the duo and also feels they can be an asset to the squad.
He told the club website: “Both players gained valuable experience out on loan last season. It’s now up to them to push each other all the way to try and break into the squad.
“Jevan’s attitude and work rate is brilliant and we’re looking forward to seeing how he progresses as a player.
“Ben’s certainly got the attributes to become a top player. It’s important that he takes the advice that is given to him from the staff to give him the best chance of fulfilling his potential.”
Anderson Pleased With New Deal
Anderson joined the club last summer after impressing former manager Nigel Clough during a trial spell.
He made his debut in a 3-0 win at MK Dons back in October but was then sent out on loan to Hereford United.
“I’d spoken to the previous manager and he was happy with how I was developing. So to hear that as well from the new gaffer was great,” Anderson said.
“I felt that going out on loan was very valuable last season and that I adapted well to playing at very competitive level of football. I now want to continue my development and try to progress playing at this level.”
Hart Looking Forward to New Start
Hart, like Anderson, also spent time out on loan this season, instead at Kidsgrove Athletic and Tamworth.
He made his debut in the 3-1 win over Rochdale on December 21 and made two more appearances for the League One side.
He said: “I felt confident that I’d done enough to get a new deal, but it was a worrying period waiting to find out what was going to happen following the pandemic.”
“I’m really happy that I’m staying, and I can’t wait to work under Jake Buxton. I feel that I’ve learnt a lot from him in training already as a player and can learn even more from him going forward as our manager.”
