League One side Portsmouth have confirmed that two players have tested positive for COVID-19 following their second round of testing.
The testing took place Monday, but the club have kept their identity unknown at this time.

Portsmouth Confirm Two Positive Coronavirus Cases
Players to Self-Isolate
As a result, the two players will now self-isolate in accordance with the EFL guidelines. The club have kept the players’ confidentiality intact and have declined to comment any further on the matter.
The club did, however, suggest they neither player were showing any symptoms ahead of testing. But, back in March, five Blues players were found to have coronavirus following tests.
There have been six positive tests from the Championship, while in League Two all tests came back as negative. The only two positive tests from League One came from the Portsmouth players in question.
League One Playoffs
Portsmouth will face Oxford United in the League One play-off semi-finals. Earlier today, the U’s confirmed no positive tests following their second round of testing and will begin training in larger groups as a result.

The news that two Pompey players have contracted the virus is highly unlikely to affect the playoffs or prevent them from going ahead, but the announcement could affect the rest of the squad and non-playing staff.
