Great This Season

Jadon Sancho has been magnificent for Borussia Dortmund this season.

The Englishman has 14 goals and 15 assists in the Bundesliga, an incredible tally for someone who is just 20 years of age, and in one of the world’s best league’s too.

His exemplary performances have attracted much interest across Europe, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool.

Barcelona have never found a winger to replace Neymar, and although Philippe Coutinho came in with that job, he has flopped. The Catalan giants would like to sign him as a permanent successor to the Brazilian if they can’t tempt him back to the Camp Nou in the summer.

Their Spanish rivals have a similar issue, with legend Cristiano Ronaldo having left, and no replacement having been found. Sancho would be a fantastic long term replacement on the wing.

Liverpool equally want a piece of the action, with wingers Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah considering moves away from Anfield.

Despite being incredibly successful, these teams have not managed to lure Sancho in, and the frontrunners to have emerged seem to be Chelsea and Manchester United.

Chelsea and United Want Sancho

Chelsea, with Frank Lampard rebuilding the squad, seem a great destination for the Englishman. In his boyhood city, Chelsea have some incredible prospects, such as Billy Gilmour and Mason Mount, and Sancho would further add to the young quality there.

Similarly, United are rebuilding with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer focussing on a youthful, and talented, team. Sancho would fit perfectly, with the Red Devils struggling to find a right-winger in their squad.

Sancho Makes a Vital Decision

Sancho, according to the report, has rejected Chelsea, and the Blues are now looking elsewhere to find an alternative. Despite no official agreement, it also states that United have the 20-year-old in their sights, having practically tied him down.
