The Premier Leauge teams have now entered this year’s FA Cup, meaning that one club from those that remain will win the competition at the end of the season. A handful of non-league clubs are clinging onto their places at this stage, whilst the third round draw has thrown up some tasty ties aside from those below the Football League.
FA Cup Third Round Draw
The key ties for this round include a potential visit to Solihull Moors for Unai Emery and his Arsenal side and Watford’s trip to Woking.
The Moors will need to defeat Blackpool in a Round Two replay if they are to host the Gunners, while Woking earned the right to host the Premier League Hornets after their shock 1-0 away win against Swindon in Round Two.
Other big ties include League Two’s Lincoln City making the trip to Goodison Park to play Everton, Wrexham or Newport hosting former Premier League champions Leicester City and the Championship leaders, Norwich City, hosting the League One leaders, Portsmouth.
