Bergwijn will provide West Ham with attacking ability and Premier League and Europa League experience. The 26-year-old, hailed as “excellent” before his final season at Spurs, has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 20 appearances for Ajax since joining them last summer. He can play on either of the two wings, as an attacking midfielder, and as a striker if needed. This versatility would be a great weapon for Moyes to utilise.
