When Will Scott Munn Start His Work as Spurs CFO?
Football London reporter Alasdair Gold has confirmed that Tottenham’s newly appointed Chief Football Director Scott Munn will start his work in the position later this month. This comes over two months after the club announced he was to take up the role, but things got delayed due to some problems with his former employer, the City Football Group.

The journalist claims that Munn is essentially going to be ‘number 2’ to chairman Daniel Levy and would be in charge of all the football departments at the club, which includes the Men’s, Women’s, Youth and Academy teams. The Australian executive is claimed to have been in attendance at all of the club’s matches this season and in pre-season as an official guest of the club, having yet to have started his role as the CFO.
But Gold states that he will finally be able to start his work at the club after the international break to work above and alongside Postecoglou, with his role to ensure that every single football sides at the club is smoothly operated.
What Will Be Munn’s First Task as CFO?
After he officially takes up his role as Spurs’ Chief Football Officer, the Australian will be put to work on filling some of the key roles at the management level. Gold adds that “one of his first official tasks” will be to appoint a new director of football, who can assist Postecoglou and help with transfers in the upcoming transfer windows.

The Director of Football role has been vacant at the club since the departure of Fabio Paratici, who was suspended by FIFA for being involved in alleged false accounting activities at Juventus. The Lilywhites are reportedly looking at former FC Barcelona director Mateu Alemany to take up that role, but Munn will be responsible for making that decision when he takes over.
