Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez is currently happy with his role at the club, his agent says, according to Gianluca di Marzio. Martinez seems to always be the subject of transfer rumours as he’s a fantastic striker and still just 24-years-old. He continues to have success at Inter, however and quotes from his agent can keep Inter faithful content with the future of their striker.

Alejandro Camaño, the striker’s agent, says that Martinez often hears about rumours regarding himself but remains very happy at Inter. The player is not focusing on a transfer but instead is very happy in the city and with the fans. He’s targeting more success with the club before the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Martinez is certainly one of the best forwards in all of Italy. He holds 17 goals to his name this season in Serie A, including three goals in his last four matches. It was a wise move for Inter to hold onto Martinez as he was drawing interest last summer.
“Lautaro is growing as a footballer, let’s not forget that he’s just 24-years-old,” Camaño said. “He is already establishing himself as one of the best strikers on the international scene.”
Inter knows this, and although they have another striker in Edin Dzeko, Martinez remains the future of the club.
Martinez helped guide Inter to the Scudetto last season but played second-fiddle to Romelu Lukaku. Although he plays alongside Dzeko, Martinez is still widely known as Inter’s star.
Inter also remains in the hunt for a repeat Scudetto. They’re just two points behind AC Milan in first place. Whether Inter finishes first or second remains unknown at the moment, but they’re returning to their old ways with a mix of young and veteran players, many of which have no intentions of leaving the club.
