Talks Ongoing
Tottenham have been looking to offload record signing Tanguy N’Dombele, a player who has failed to impress at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and was subject to boos from his own fans after a poor performance against League Two Morecambe in the FA Cup third round. As a result, he was left out of the squad for the recent Premier League defeat to Chelsea. Despite having undoubted talent, the midfielder has failed to show the work rate that managers desire and Antonio Conte is happy for him to be moved on.
It is understood that N’Dombele is likely to join Paris Saint-Germain on loan and Spurs’ director of football is believed to have started talks with Fiorentina over a move for Amrabat.
Change of Coach
At the start of the 2020/21 Serie A season, Amrabat joined Fiorentina from Hellas Verona and was one of the clubs’ in form players along with Dusan Vlahovic. Amrabat made 34 league appearances but when the club changed manager, he found that the 2021/22 season was going to be different and to date he has only played for 215 minutes this season with the club willing to let him leave.
Fabio Paratici
With just days of the transfer window remaining, Spurs are yet to make a transfer amid talk of Conte becoming frustrated as he wants to strengthen his side to reduce the gap to Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. Paratici is looking at a number of targets but discussions are ongoing with Fiorentina with the hope being that the deal can be completed before the deadline.
