Fantasy Premier League 2021/22 Gameweek 11 Picks

Quick Tips

As always, after midweek European games there could be injuries or other factors ahead of this weekend’s Premier League matches. However, with a Friday deadline, it will be very difficult to get news from most teams. Hence, having one or two playing options on the bench would be ideal. On the other hand, some FPL managers are struggling to decide who to bench as they had the likes of Tino Livramento, Raphinha and Emile Smith Rowe on the bench last week.

Fantasy Premier League 2021/22 Gameweek 11: Fixtures to Target

Everton v Tottenham Hotspur

Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are both in terrible form but the new manager bounce could work wonders for the North London side. After three defeats on the trot, Everton will go into this game very low in confidence. Antonio Conte is one of the best head coaches around and his appointment might spark the Tottenham players into action. His preference to play with wing-backs and three at the back might see the likes of Sergio Reguilón and Emerson Royal profit. Harry Kane has been poor this season but he does have a great record against the Toffees with 12 goals in 13 matches. Son Heung-min, as always, remains a good option. Besides, Tottenham have a nice run of fixtures coming up as well so consider their picks very strongly.

Chelsea v Burnley

Both Reece James and Ben Chilwell were rested in their midweek Champions League game and should start this week. FPL owners of James got a handsome return last week and will be expecting more of the same this week too. On the other hand, Burnley got their first win of the season last week and will try their best to make things uncomfortable for Chelsea. The West London side have won the last four clashes between the sides. Doubts remain about the availability of Mason Mount. Kai Havertz should continue to start upfront in the absence of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.

Arsenal v Watford

Since losing three games in a row at the start of the season, Arsenal’s performances and results have improved by quite a margin. The Gunners have won five and drawn the other two games since that disastrous start. They were very impressive last week as they beat Leicester City away from home. They have a very nice fixture this week against Watford so expect good FPL points from their assets. Bukayo Saka and Smith Rowe are great options on the cheap while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang offers a great differential option. Arguably, the best value can be found in defence as Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all available at attractive prices.

Leeds United v Leicester City

Leicester City thrashed Leeds United in this fixture last season. Marcelo Bielsa’s men have been struggling this campaign and have conceded 17 goals in ten games so far. For many FPL managers, there is the temptation to sell Jamie Vardy for Harry Kane this week but he could do very well in this fixture.

Fantasy Premier League 2021/22 Gameweek 11: Things to Consider

Despite losing three games in a row, players should keep the Brentford assets if possible as they face Norwich City this week followed by Newcastle United and Everton.

Manchester United have three tough fixtures out of the next four you could sell some of their players. However, they have some quality options and Cristiano Ronaldo is in great goal-scoring form.

West Ham United are in superb form but their upcoming fixtures are rather tough. Will they struggle in these games? High-flying Liverpool visit the London Stadium this Sunday and Mohamed Salah has a brilliant record against the Hammers with nine goals in eight matches.

Brighton & Hove Albion have impressed everyone this season and face struggling Newcastle United this week. The Magpies are still without a manager after Unai Emery rejected their offer. Robert Sánchez will expect to add to his four clean sheets and with Dan Burn injured, Shane Duffy should keep his place.

Captaincy Options

Mohamed Salah remains the safest option despite a tough fixture. For the brave ones out there, Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang present differential options.
