Attacking Reinforcements for Die Adler

Jens Petter Hauge has finally completed his move to Eintracht Frankfurt. The Norwegian international has long been linked with a transfer to Die Adler, but delay in reaching an agreement between Eintracht Frankfurt and AC Milan had dragged the transfer on. Hauge is joining the club on a season-long loan deal from AC Milan. They also have an obligation to buy the Norweigian upon the occurrence of certain conditions

He arrives at Deutsche Bank Park after a poor debut season with AC Milan. Hauge had struggled to break into the starting lineup at Milan. The winger leaves after making 24 appearances and scoring five goals for Rossoneri.

What Was Said?

Speaking to the club website, Jens Petter Hauge said: “I am very happy to be here and to take my next step. Eintracht Frankfurt is a big traditional club and has already caused a stir internationally. I’ve followed the appearances in the Europa League and can’t wait to wear the Eintracht jersey myself from now on.”

Eintracht Frankfurt Sporting Director was also ecstatic about the Norweigian’s move and spoke about it to the club’s website: “With Jens Petter Hauge we are adding the next important piece of the puzzle to our squad. Our goal is to align the squad in such a way that we have even more variability and are less predictable.

“In addition to a high speed, Jens Petter has the skills to solve offensive one-on-one situations and thus radiate goal danger from all offensive positions. He is a young player who is capable of development and who has already taken his first steps at an absolute top club on an international level and who can also look back on five years of experience in professional football. All of that made him a very interesting player for us and we are happy that we could win him over.”
