He is expected to undergo his medicals next week ahead of the proposed move. The former Chelsea academy member will reportedly sign a three-year deal with Galatasaray.
Apart from a season on loan with Vitesse in the Netherlands, Van Aanholt has spent his entire senior career playing in England. He joined Crystal Palace in 2017 from Sunderland. He was an integral part of the Palace side during his time at the club. In four years, the full-back made 134 appearances and scored 14 goals for the Eagles.
Sacha Boey Set to Sign For Galatasaray
The former Crystal Palace defender is not the only full-back joining Galatasaray this season. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Turkish giants have agreed a deal to sign 20-year-old right-back Sacha Boey from French side Rennes. Sacha Boey is set to join Galatasaray on a four-year contract, until June 2025. The full-back will likely fly to Istanbul on Sunday, ahead of completing his move to Turkey.
A Rennes academy graduate, Boey made his debut in 2019. The full-back moved to Ligue 1 side Dijon on loan during the 2020/21 season. Boey made 24 appearances for the club but failed to help Dijon avoid relegation to Ligue 2.
