With the Euros now over, it looks likely that the Tottenham Hotspur transfer news will begin to pick up, starting with Southampton’s Danny Ings. According to Matt Law of the Telegraph, the forward sits at the top of Daniel Levy’s list of targets this summer. Ings himself reportedly desires one last shot at a big club and, with one year remaining on his current Saints deal, could be allowed to leave St Mary’s this summer.
The deal would suit two different scenarios at Spurs. As of right now, Ings would come in to form a deadly duo with Harry Kane. At the same time, however, should Kane decides to leave in pursuit of trophies, the Southampton man would act as his direct replacement.
