Norwich City midfielder Emi Buendia says the Canaries should fare better in the Premier League next season after being named the Championship Player of the Season.

Canaries Midfielder Hopeful Of Longer Stay in Premier League This Time Around
The Canaries were relegated to the Championship last season after a disappointing return to the top-flight.
This season, however, the Canaries have dominated in the second-tier and secured promotion back to the Premier League with a handful of games remaining.
Speaking after picking up the award, Buendia said relegation to the Championship and their subsequent promotion back has made the squad wiser.
He said: “The experience in this squad means a lot. We have played a few years together now as a squad. Everyone knows everyone which is very good.
“The structure of the club should allow us to do it properly next year.”
Whilst there have been many key performers within Daniel Farke’s promotion-winning side, Emi Buendia and Teemu Pukki were two to be shortlisted for the Championship Player of the Season award.
The Norwich duo were named alongside Brentford striker Ivan Toney for the division award, but it was Buendia who came out on top.
Buendia, 24, has had an impressive campaign for the Canaries. He has found the net 14 times and contributed 16 assists – five more than his nearest rivals, Harry Wilson and Harvey Elliott.
The Argentine’s success as Player of the Season means a Norwich City player has won the accolade for the second successive time after Pukki held the title two years ago. There was no winner last season as coronavirus disrupted the season.
Jonson Clarke-Harris and Paul Mullin both received Player of the Season awards for equally impressive seasons within League One and League Two respectively.
