Wigan Athletic have announced the arrivals of Jamie Proctor, Viv Soloman-Otabor and Scott Wootton.
Proctor arrives on loan from Rotherham United having spent the first half of the season at Newport County.
Soloman-Otabor initially joined Wigan in the summer on a short term deal but an injury in October saw him leave the club to receive treatment. He has fully recovered and signs a short term deal until the end of the season
Wootton arrives on loan from Plymouth Argyle for the remainder of the season
The arrivals of Proctor, Wootton and Soloman-Otabor continue a busy transfer window for Wigan as Leam Richardson takes the total number of signings to nine.

Proctor Arrives After Spell at Newport County
The striker is well travelled having played for several EFL clubs. Teams on his CV include Scunthorpe United, Bradford City, Bolton Wanderers, Crawley Town, Fleetwood Town and most recently Newport County.
He spent the first half of the season at Rodney Parade helping Newport establish themselves as promotion contenders. He managed just one goal in ten league appearances for the Exiles and returned to Rotherham following the conclusion of his loan spell.
Proctor will now spend the second half of the season helping Wigan try to avoid consecutive relegations. The Latics sit second bottom in League One, two points adrift of safety.
Proctor could make his debut in Wigan’s crucial clash with AFC Wimbledon next weekend. The two sides are separated by two points and a place in the League One table.
Soloman-Otabor Returns After His Recovery From Injury
As well as confirming Proctor’s arrival, Wigan have also re-signed winger Viv Soloman-Otabor. He was a regular in the side until a knee injury sustained against Plymouth Argyle in October ruled him out for three months.
He is recovering and is close to a return. A deal until the end of the season has been agreed between the two parties. The winger was impressing for the Latics having registered two assists prior to his injury.
The club have been allowed to make this signing following injuries to Kyle Joseph and Harry McHugh. Wigan are currently under a transfer embargo and can only have a certain amount of players in their squad.
Scott Wootton Completes Trio of New Arrivals at Wigan Athletic
Wigan have also announced the signing of experienced defender Scott Wootton. He joins on loan for the rest of the season from Plymouth Argyle.
Wootton has featured in just ten league games in League One and joins the Latics hoping for regular game time. He takes Wigan’s transfer business to nine signings.
Again like Proctor, Wootton could make his debut against AFC Wimbledon.
