Sunderland have this evening made their third signing of the transfer window. Lee Johnson has added Rangers winger Jordan Jones to his squad for the rest of the season.
Jones successfully completed his medical on Friday. The deal was announced on the club’s official website shortly after. Jones follows midfielder Carl Winchester and left-back Jake Vokins through the door at the Stadium of Light this month as head coach adds reinforcements to his squad as they push for promotion.

Lee Johnson has been looking to add to his forward options this month and has finally made a breakthrough. 26-year-old Jones is a Northern Ireland international and a tricky winger with a pinpoint cross.

Johnson Delighted to Have Made Transfer Breakthrough
Lee Johnson was today delighted to have brought in the type of player he has been wanting to sign all month. Speaking following the arrival of winger Jordan Jones, Johnson said: “As Jordan comes in, we are looking forward to working with him and seeing what he brings to our squad.
