Anthony Knockaert will have his stay at Nottingham Forest extended after the Reds agreed terms on a new loan until the end of the season.
Anthony Knockaert Extends Loan Deal With Nottingham Forest
Winger Beginning to Show More Quality
Nottingham Forest have extended Anthony Knockaert’s loan from Fulham to the City Ground.
The Reds had an option to buy the winger at the end of his loan spell, but Forest have negotiated a new loan agreement according to reports from Paul Taylor and John Percy.
Anthony Knockaert will be staying at #NFFC for the rest of the season… his loan has been extended/renewed, however you wish to put it. Positive as he was just starting to find a bit of sharpness.

The winger has produced mixed performances since arriving on-loan from Fulham in the summer.
He has scored just one goal in sixteen appearances for Nottingham Forest; managing a shot accuracy of just 25 per cent and only 0.4 shots on target per 90 minutes.
While he has not been as consistent as boss Chris Hughton perhaps may have liked, the winger has begun to reveal more glimpses of the quality that earned him a £10 million move to Fulham in July 2020.
Speaking about the 29-year-old’s loan arrangement on Thursday, Chris Hughton told Nottinghamshire Live: “We are very much in a period of January where we are looking at the options – and all of the options we have.
“What I will say about Anthony is he has certainly given us something in this period of time, different to the other wide players we’ve got.
“Over the period of time he has started to have more influence.
“But we are in a January period where we have to start making decisions. And we hope there are decisions to be made.”
He added: “This is a player we’ve had here since the start of the season and he’s got better in the period of time he’s been here.
“But we have to look at all of the options, or potential options, we have.”
One In and One Out
Cypriot defender Nicholas Ioannou remains likely to make a loan move away from the City Ground.
His last appearance for the Reds was a 1-1 draw against Luton Town in which he was sent off.
Yuri Riberio has since adopted the left-back position as his own, relegating Ioannou to the substitutes’ bench on six occasions.
