Lucas Moura on the move?
Tottenham’s Brazilian Lucas Moura could be about to leave the North London club just months after he signed. Recent reports are suggesting that Spanish side Real Betis are interested. Moura signed for Spurs in January for £25 million. The attacker failed to impress although he did have a good pre-season and the hopes were that he could come good.
Real Betis vice-chairman Lorenzo Serra Ferrer has confirmed their interest. It may now come down to whether Spurs want to sell. Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is expecting players to leave if they are not committed. It remains to be seen if Moura is one of those players. The Spanish transfer window closes at the end of August.
Latest on Ospina and Elneny
Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has joined Napoli on loan. The deal includes an option to buy. The fee is believed to be 8 million Euros if Napoli decide to make the move permanent. The ‘keeper became the Gunners third choice behind Petr Cech and new signing Bernd Leno.
Egyptian international Mohamed Elneny is attracting interest from French side Marseille. Arsenal are looking to reduce their wage bill and the midfielder could be sacrificed. Elneny has made 38 Premier League appearances since joining in 2016 and is believed to be thought of as a fringe player. Therefore the Gunners are unlikely to stand in the way of a move should Marseille make an offer. The French transfer window closes at the end of the month.
City youngster Italy bound
The Italian transfer window shuts today and a flurry of activity is expected. One player expected to make the to move to Italy is Leicester City wide-man Bartosz Kapustka. The 21-year-old is expected to join Serie B side, Benevento. The deal is reported to have an option to buy clause.
Polish international Kapustka is due to have a medical today ahead of completing his move before the closure of their transfer window. The youngster signed for City after impressing for Piland during Euro 2016 but struggled to force his way into the team. He has spent time on loan at SC Freiburg during his time at the King Power Stadium.
