Offensively, Flemings has the potential to be one of the best scorers at the next level.

At the point guard position especially, his length and quick-twitch athleticism will naturally give him the upper-hand in many matchups. Factor in his crafty ball-handling ability and he’s a player that should truly thrive in NBA space. In fact, he may have an easier time scoring in the NBA than the NCAA despite facing a higher level of competition.
Flemings may also be enabled to score more as well. With that in mind, Houston head coach Kelvin Sampson has earned his status as a college legend. Nevertheless, the Cougars’ offense has usually been middling during his tenure.
True 3-Level Scorer
In this era, many would likely want him to take more shots from beyond the arc. Nevertheless, he’s a true three-level scorer in a league that at least claims to appreciate that archetype. As a long-range threat, he’s not only consistent but has range out to the hash mark. In the midrange, he can be absolutely lethal due to his touch and his ability to create space with his handles or footwork. As a finisher, he’s not as effective as his skill and tools would suggest because he takes a number of tough shots. Nevertheless, he’ll convert by going under the tin or over the top, and make a highlight doing it.
You Can’t Unsee His Vision
Because of how threatening he is as a scorer, his natural playmaking ability is only enhanced. His court vision and passing precision are already advanced as is. With defenders having no choice but to account for his ability to score from anywhere on the court though, all his teammates need to do is find a crease in the defense. Flemings will find them.
