For April 16, 2024, we will look at the game between the Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors from Sacramento. This is a play-in tournament game between the 9th and 10th seed. The winner here will play against the loser of the New Orleans Pelicans and the LA Lakers for a spot in the playoffs. Unfortunately, for the losing team, this season will be over.
The Sacramento Kings have 5 out of their last 7 games. This is the only reason why they dropped all the way to 9th seed. Without Malik Monk, the Kings are not doing well offensively. They lost pretty much all of their important games at the end of the season. The last two games they won were against the Blazers and the Nets, who did not have anything to play for. We believe that the Kings won’t be able to do much against such an experienced team as the Warriors are.
The Warriors had some internal problems this season. Draymond Green kept getting ejected and just could not control himself. Klay Thompson could not accept the fact that he was not in his best form, and had to come in off the bench. Everyone thought that the Warriors would even be out of the play-in tournament. However, they had an amazing 6-game winning streak and managed to get to the 10th seed.
