The teams split their four matchups this year, with each team winning on the other’s home court once. This is the third time the Wolves and Nuggets are meeting in the playoffs. The Nuggets defeated the Wolves in five games in last year’s first-round matchup.
A few interesting tidbits from the team’s regular season games. Minnesota won both its games by double-digits while holding Denver to fewer than 100 points each time. Meanwhile, both of the Nuggets victories were by fewer than 10 points, and they averaged 115.5 points, and the Timberwolves compiled 109 a game.
