The NBA has officially announced this year’s reserves for the 2024 All-Star Game. This news comes one week after the NBA announced the starters for the All-Star Game.  This year’s All-Star Game will take place on Sunday, February 8 at 8 PM EST in Indianapolis, Indiana.

NBA News: 2024 All-Star Reserves Announced

Eastern Conference Reserves

Jaylen Brown (3x NBA All-Star Selection)

With the league-leading Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown is averaging 22.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.

Donovan Mitchell (5x NBA All-Star Selection)

In his second season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell is once again an NBA All-Star for the fifth straight season. This year, Mitchell, the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for January, is averaging 28.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game for the Cavaliers.

Jalen Brunson (1x NBA All-Star Selection)

Jalen Brunson is one of three first-time selections this year. With the New York Knicks, Brunson is averaging 26.8 points and 6.5 assists per game this season.

Bam Adebayo (3x NBA All-Star Selection)

The only Miami Heat representative this season, Bam Adebayo has been selected to his third career All-Star Team. Furthermore, this season, Adebayo is averaging 20.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.

Julius Randle (3x NBA All-Star Selection)

Julius Randle has been selected to his third All-Star Team in four years. With the Knicks this season, Randle is averaging 24 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. However, Randle recently dislocated his shoulder and will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks. His status for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game is worth monitoring.

Tyrese Maxey (1x NBA All-Star Selection)

No surprise that Tyrese Maxey is a 2024 NBA All-Star with the impressive season he has had so far. Additionally, this season with the Philadelphia 76ers, Maxey is averaging 25.7 points and 6.6 assists per game.

Paolo Banchero (1x NBA All-Star Selection)

The reigning NBA Rookie of the Year is now an All-Star in his second season with the Orlando Magic. So far, Paolo Banchero is averaging 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.

Western Conference Reserves

Devin Booker (4x NBA All-Star Selection)

Devin Booker, last month’s Western Conference Player of the Month, is averaging 28.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game with the Phoenix Suns this year.

Stephen Curry (10x NBA All-Star Selection)

Seeing Stephen Curry as an NBA All-Star is not news. Seeing him as an All-Star reserve, however, is a different story. Regardless, Curry is averaging 27.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5 assists per game this year.

Anthony Davis (9x NBA All-Star Selection)

Anthony Davis is currently averaging 24.9 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game. In addition, it is clear these numbers are good enough for “The Brow” to be an All-Star for the ninth time.

Anthony Edwards (2x NBA All-Star Selection)

Leading the Minnesota Timberwolves, the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, Anthony Edwards is a no-brainer for the All-Star Game this year. Additionally, this season, Edwards is averaging 25.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game.

Paul George (9x NBA All-Star Selection)

Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers have been on a tear this month. Because of this, George is an NBA All-Star once again. With the Clippers this season, PG-13 is averaging 23 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.

Kawhi Leonard (6x NBA All-Star Selection)

Speaking of George and the Clippers, his teammate Kawhi Leonard is an NBA All-Star for the first time since the 2020-21 season. This year, also with the Clippers, Leonard is averaging 23.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.

Karl-Anthony Towns (4x NBA All-Star Selection)

Lastly, and for the fourth time in his career, Karl-Anthony Towns is an NBA All-Star. With the Timberwolves, Towns is averaging 22.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
