This year’s invitees will join the Orioles 40-man roster members for Spring Training in Sarasota, FL. Returning to Spring Training are Orioles top prospects Jackson Holliday, Coby Mayo, and Samuel Basallo. These non-roster players can showcase their talent and compete for a spot on the big league roster. With 60 players in Florida this year, not everyone will last the entire six-week camp. Many Orioles invitees will only experience Spring Training for a few weeks before being reassigned to Minor League camp.
With many of this year’s invitees already knocking on the big league’s door, seeing these players in action this spring will be fun. Will this be the year that Jackson Holliday makes the Opening Day roster, and who else could we see a debut for the AL East champs in 2024?
