Headlined by sending two of its starting pitchers to Los Angeles, Lucas Giolito to the Angels, and Lance Lynn to the Dodgers. Despite these major changes, they do retain their ace, Dylan Cease, who is slated to start tonight. Now he is certainly deserving of the title of ace, however on a team such as the White Sox, that is not saying much. His ERA has ballooned to 4.61 after allowing four or more runs in three of his last five starts. Additionally, the Yankees will have Gerrit Cole on the mound to limit the home team’s offense.

Tonight’s second pick sees an AL West showdown between two vastly different teams. The hosts, the Oakland Athletics are simply limping towards the end of the season, while the Texas Rangers have risen to be true contenders. Their intentions have been made crystal clear after the trade deadline. Adding Max Scherzer and Jordan Montgomery at the deadline, bolstering an already stellar rotation. The team will look to win their seventh straight tonight against the struggling A’s.
