Craig Harrington is officially the second-ever coach for the Utah Royals FC. Also in NWSL news, the Orlando Pride used allocation money to sign Ali Riley, the New Zealand captain and defender.

Paige Monaghan NWSL

Paige Monaghan is a proud “Jersey girl” and she’s staying put in her home state. She inked a two-year deal with Sky Blue FC yesterday. Also, Haley Kopmeyer was waived by the Orlando Pride and Mandy Laddish announced her retirement.

Attendance skyrocketed for teams throughout the NWSL, including Chicago where more than 17,000 fans showed up to watch the Red Stars and Courage.

North Carolina has hopped over Reign FC for the top spot in the NWSL. However, all teams can celebrate the rise of attendance across the board.
