Reign FC forced their way into the NWSL playoffs after battling injuries and doubts all season. Meanwhile, Chicago will join North Carolina in hosting one of the NWSL semifinals.
The North Carolina Courage are back on top in the NWSL, after a huge 6-0 victory over the Portland Thorns. Also, the Chicago Red Stars earn three points on the road in Orlando.

Attendance skyrocketed for teams throughout the NWSL, including Chicago where more than 17,000 fans showed up to watch the Red Stars and Courage.
North Carolina has hopped over Reign FC for the top spot in the NWSL. However, all teams can celebrate the rise of attendance across the board.
Kristen Hamilton showed off her moves and goal-scoring prowess in a 3-0 victory on the road against the Orlando Pride. North Carolina now sits in third place in the NWSL standings.
