Podcast (February 14, 2018) – Hello Rapids Fans! This week on Holding The High Line, Mark and Matt have CCL Fever and the only cure is doing a podcast! The guys start off with some Rapid Fire news topics from the past week, then dive into all things CONCACAF Champions League. The Colorado Rapids are hosting Toronto FC on Tuesday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
Holding The High Line with Rabbi and Red Episode 3: CCL Fever
Rabbi and Red discuss what exactly a 5-3-2 vs. 5-3-2 would look like. We discuss key match ups on the field and how the Toronto Manager Greg Vanney might change things up. We discuss x-factors for Leg One. The guys go back and forth about who is in their Rapids Starting XI for Tuesday and how it could be a interesting game of cat and mouse, especially after halftime. We finish with some not so optimistic predictions for Tuesday night’s affair.
Holding The High Line with Rabbi and Red is a soccer podcast centered around the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. The show aims to provide analysis based coverage and commentary of the Pids and have some fun while doing so. We record weekly-ish. It is hosted by Mark Goodman of Burgundy Wave and Matt Pollard from Last Word on Soccer.

Mark Goodman is a writer for the Burgundy Wave. He focuses on long form editorials. A stats nerd at heart, he loves focusing on the Rapids Academy and human interest stories within the club. In his other life, he’s a Rabbi, suffering Arsenal fan, and a father of two. He also knows way more about the Israeli Premier League than you do. Follow him on Twitter @rapidsrabbi.
Matt Pollard is the Managing Editor of Last Word on Soccer and a beat writer covering the Colorado Rapids and LA Galaxy. When he’s not watching soccer or at work, the Colorado transplant enjoys skiing and hiking all over the state. He’ll talk your ear off about soccer stadium architecture if you let him. For some inexplicable reason, he thought starting a podcast with Mark was a good idea. Follow him on Twitter @LWOSMattPollard.
