On Friday, it was announced in a special vignette that Toni Storm is officially “coming soon” to Friday Night SmackDown. She joined Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart, who debuted earlier in the night, as the newest editions of the brand.

Toni Storm has many accolades to her name inside and outside of WWE. Since coming to the company in the first Mae Young Classic, Storm has been pegged as one of the future stars for the entire company. Storm won the second Mae Young Classic when she defeated Io Shirai in the finals. She would go on to become the second-ever NXT UK Women’s Champion, defeating current Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley for the belt.
In her time before WWE, she won gold in promotions like Stardom, PROGRESS, and wXw. Her time in Stardom saw her capture the World of Stardom Championship, the same title that the likes of Shirai, Kairi Sane, and newest WWE signing Blair Davenport have all won.
Storm has always been a champion wherever she ends up. Her addition to SmackDown not only means likely success but should have SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair aware that Storm will be trying to take the gold from her as soon as possible.
It’s almost “Toni Time” for SmackDown.
