AEW Dynamite is back on Wednesday nights and it is time to celebrate. The promotion has delivered a killer card that started off the night tremendously and saw a long-awaited main event finally happen. Here are the AEW Dynamite results along with analysis for the main event and match ratings as well.

AEW Dynamite Results: In-Depth Match Analysis
MJF vs. Sammy Guevara
MJF and Sammy Guevara have been considered for a long time to be a match that displays the future of AEW. MJF, however, made the point earlier in the night that his goal was to show everyone he is the “now.” The early going was an absolute stalemate between the two with both matching each other with impressive counter after impressive counter. As the match went on, MJF realized that his only way of slowing down Guevara was to attack the leg and try to ground “The Spanish God” in doing so. Guevara continuously fought back against MJF and showed that this very well was looking to be his night to shine brighter than ever before. Guevara even hit the Mick Foley double clothesline over the top rope before following it with a Tornillo over the top. A Destroyer by Guevara would get a two count.
With Chris Jericho on commentary, the match was getting hotter and hotter as it went on. Guevara would hit an insane dive from the top rope out to past the barricade onto MJF, showing everyone that he is indeed the future and possibly now like MJF had hoped to be. He would attempt to hit a 450 Splash but would be stopped by MJF who would turn it into a top rope Tombstone Piledriver. Somehow this was only a two count. Already this was the best match MJF has ever had and there was still a conclusion to be found. MJF would begin to sell the leg and it allowed Guevara to hit the GTH but MJF would get his hand on the rope. “The Spanish God” would hit the 630 Splash but MJF would somehow then kick out of that.
Shawn Spears made his way down to the ring and they’d use that distraction as Wardlow would take out Jericho. Spears would get a chair with the referee turning his back to hand MJF the win. Heel work at its absolute finest in what was a star-making performance for Guevara. One of the best TV main events you will see in 2021 and the best showing possibly either man has ever had in their career. A perfect way to cap off a great run at Daily’s Place.
