Ever since their release from WWE fans have been debating the landing spot of Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson. Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that IMPACT Wrestling may be that landing spot as the promotion is “heavily pursuing” the former IWGP and WWE tag team champions and that the two are “close to finalizing deals in the States”
The deal reportedly would allow the former Bullet Club members to return to New Japan Pro Wrestling if there is interest, similar to AEW’s deals with Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley.
IMPACT Wrestling tag team champions The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) have been bragging for weeks that they are the best tag team in the world and are the longest-reigning IMPACT tag team champions of all time. A Gallows & Anderson debut to shut the two up at Slammiversary would be a great way to kickstart a feud between the two teams and add another top team to IMPACT’s top-heavy tag division.
With IMPACT recently clearing a couple of wrestlers names off their books they certainly have the financial muscle to chase Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson along with the limited number of dates and ability to work NJPW.
