The long-awaited in-ring debut of Karrion Kross (former IMPACT star Killer Kross) and Scarlett Bourdeaux finally occurred on Wednesday’s episode of NXT on the USA Network, when Kross dismantled EVOLVE Wrestling star Leon Ruff. Kross and Scarlett were treated to the kind of “Big Game” intro that has previously reserved for the likes of Finn Balor and Aleister Black, solidifying them as elite-level stars with the NXT brand.

Like most of Undertaker’s last few WrestleMania appearances, the intro was longer than the match, as Karrion Kross made quick work of Leon Ruff amidst a ring still smoking. Leon Ruff has become a familiar face on WWE television, as the EVOLVE protege of AR Fox faced Aleister Black on the March 16 edition of WWE Main Event and then again in a rematch on Monday Night Raw on March 23, before succumbing to a returning Sheamus on SmackDown on April 25. He completed the WWE TV Grand Slam on Wednesday as a singles wrestler, facing Karrion Kross in his own WWE TV debut (he appeared on NXT in tag action in December of last year against Forgotten Sons).
