IMPACT Wrestling was originally slated to present the second annual IMPACT Rebellion PPV on Sunday, April 19, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they had to cancel the live event, originally scheduled to take place at Terminal 5 in New York City. But instead of canceling the event altogether, in early April IMPACT taped the scheduled matches in Nashville, Tennessee at a closed location, and Rebellion became a two-part special on IMPACT television on AXS-TV, starting on Tuesday, April 21 and concluding tonight on Tuesday, April 28. Last week saw Willie Mack become the new X-Division Champion, the return of Crazzy Steve, and the destruction of oVe at Sami Callihan‘s own hands. Here’s what to look forward to on Night 2 of IMPACT Rebellion.
Joseph Ryan vs. Cousin Jake
Ever since “Penis guy” Joey Ryan joined the #CancelCulture movement, he’s been simply Joseph Ryan, trying to purify IMPACT Wrestling alongside Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes. He has his sights set on the “toxic masculinity” of The Deaners and on Tuesday night he faces big Cousin Jake. Hopefully, IMPACT decides to unleash Jake a bit more, away from just a country boy gimmick, as he’s an impressive stud in the US indies as Jake Something.
"The IMPACT Wrestling ring is supposed to be a safe space…but IT'S NOT. Not when it's polluted by the toxic masculinity of The Deaners." #CancelCulture presented this message on IMPACT. #IMPACTonAXSTV @JoeyRyanOnline @TherealRVD @TheKatieForbes pic.twitter.com/JAOBZtySpu

Suicide vs. Chris Bey vs. Trey Miguel vs. Rohit Raju
IMPACT has an impressive arsenal of young talent and this features two of the brightest, in West Coast newcomer Chris Bey and The Rascalz‘ Trey Miguel. This four-way match also features veteran Suicide and Desi Hit Squad‘s Rohit Raju. It would be nice if Rohit got a chance to shine in this match, as he’s another like Cousin Jake who has had an impressive run in the Midwest under a different name, Hakim Zane. Four very talented men, this will be an athletic showcase looking to steal the show.
Full Metal Mayhem Match: Rosemary vs. Jessicka Havok
For weeks, Taya Valkyrie has lost it and seemingly been preparing to face IMPACT Knockout’s Champion Jordynne Grace in a Full Metal Mayhem match at IMPACT Rebellion. At least that’s what Rosemary has been led to believe – on her Social Media, “The Demon Assassin” seems confused as to why her name has now been advertised for the match, but against Jessicka Havok. Rosemary will be looking for answers from Taya as she gets ready to go hardcore with Havok.
.@TheTayaValkyrie* takes on @JordynneGrace* in #FullMetalMayhem, can you ridiculous mortals not get anything right..? We’ll be in her corner if she so desires, naturally.. #Rebellion #DemonAssassin https://t.co/TBs70tOypi

The Future of the IMPACT World Championship
The biggest story of the night will be the status of the IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship. Reigning champion Tessa Blanchard was unable to travel to Nashville for IMPACT Rebellion, so she is unable to defend her title. Eddie Edwards never arrived in Nashville, leaving Michael Elgin the lone competitor left. Elgin is demanding to be awarded the World title, but IMPACT may have other plans. Will Tessa get stripped of her World title? Will Elgin face other competitors in an unannounced match to crown an interim World Champion? We’ll find out tonight!
