Just moments ago, AJ Styles defeated Kevin Owens at a Smackdown Live Event at Madison Square Garden in New York City to become the brand new WWE United States Champion. This marks Styles’ second major title in the WWE in just over a year, following his lengthy run as WWE Champion in 2016.
