With only a few more episodes left before the season finale on New Year’s Eve, Beyond has put together one of its most stacked lineups of the year. This card has everything as the show is bringing in tons of new talent for the Tournament of Tomorrow like Robo The Punjabi Lion, while also highlighting some of the staples of Beyond like Nerder Death Kill and John Silver. Fan favorites like Eddie Kingston will be returning and international wrestler Carlos Romo will be making his debut. With season three and next year of Uncharted Territory up in the air, make sure to check out the best weekly wrestling show.
Nerder Death Kill vs John Silver and Eddie Kingston
At the start of Season 2 of Uncharted Territory, John Silver was in a rough place. He had broken up with his longtime tag team partner and was in the midst of a losing streak since Americanrana ‘19. The streak continued when he lost to Nick Gage on episode two of Uncharted Territory and refused to shake his hand. Later that night, Eddie Kingston wrestled Tim Thatcher in a great match and he ended the night by giving a speech. Kingston called out John Silver and gave him a pep talk. At the next show, Sodom and Gomorrah, John Silver beat Erick Stevens and has since been on a winning streak.
Nerder Death Kill has also been on a winning streak since forming all the way back this summer in season two. No one has been able to beat the unlikely team of Nick Gage and Thomas Santell. They have gone through Milk Chocolate, Creatures of the Deep, Bryan Alvarez and Tom Lawler and self-declared Ace’s Team Tremendous. These two teams will meet on episode 11 of Uncharted Territory and only one can continue their winning streak.
Leyla Hirsch and Wheeler YUTA vs AC Mack and Fred Yehi
Last week’s breakout star of Uncharted Territory, Leyla Hirsch, took on AC Mack in a singles match after he invaded the Thanksgiving show. AC Mack is currently the SUP Bonestorm Champion and the Action Champion, the two titles he forces Rich Palladino to hold up prior to his matches. After winning the match over Leyla Hirsch, Mack would continue to attack him. Wheeler YUTA, who was sitting in on commentary, would hit the ring to save his tag partner.
This week, AC Mack is bringing a friend of his own in Fred Yehi to take on the team of Leyla Hirsch and Wheeler Yuta in a tag team match.
Tony Deppen vs Carlos Romo
This match got put together the way a lot of matches seem to get put together in 2019, with a tweet. Spanish wrestler Carlos Romo tweeted out that he was impressed by Tony Deppen when he was at King of Trios 2018. Carlos was in the states and wanted a match with Deppen while he was here. Beyond saw the tweet and instantly put the match together. The international high-flyer will go one on one with a wrestler making the most of his 2019, Tony Deppen. If you have seen either of these two work you will know that this match will not disappoint.
Team Pazuzu Returns
Chris Dickinson hasn’t been on an episode of Uncharted Territory since episode eight, where Dickinson lost by referee decision to Chuck O’Neil. Since then, Dickinson has gone to Australia, Mexico and California to wrestle, leaving Pazuzu member Pinkie Sanchez alone to team with Danhausen in a losing effort against Nerder Death Kill, last week. This week, Team Pazuzu will be back together facing an unannounced opponent.
Tournament For Tomorrow Round 1: Robo the Punjabi Lion vs Christian Casanova
Last week kicked off the first round of this year’s Tournament for Tomorrow which will feature only wrestlers from New England. Last week’s rounds had two surprising finishes when CJ Cruz was able to beat Anthony Greene and Alec Price was able to get the upset, with help from Greene, over Josh Briggs.
This week will finish off the first round when Robo The Punjabi Lion takes on Christian Casanova. Robo is a New England Pro Wrestling trainee who has been trained by Brian Fury like half of the other competitors. He will be facing Casanova who has become a staple of Uncharted Territory as a member of Club Cam. Club Cam hasn’t been around for a few weeks after some infighting and will certainly be looking to get back to their winning ways. After last week anything is possible.
Tournament For Tomorrow Round 1: Richard Holliday vs DL Hurst
Another first-round matchup in the Tournament for Tomorrow will be Connecticut’s own Richard Holliday taking on DL Hurst. The Airpod God Richard Holliday has made a name for himself after joining forces with Club Cam and again, with back up from his stable, could be a favorite to take the entire tournament. DL Hurst has worked his way through Uncharted Territory, starting at the Discovery Gauntlet and coming up short, having a dark match at Americanrana ‘19 and just showing up to help put the ring together at All Hands on Deck and getting a shot at the Independent Wrestling Championship. DL Hurst has put in the long hard hours at Uncharted Territory and could be a favorite to win the entire tournament.
Discovery Gauntlet: Arron Rourke (C) vs Anthony Bowens
The Discovery Gauntlet has been a chance for lesser-known wrestlers to get a lot of attention on themselves. Arron Rourke has done just that after winning his spot two weeks ago. He has shown himself as one of the most exciting young wrestlers who will certainly be having a huge 2020. Rourke will be facing Anthony Bowens another wrestler who has been making a name for himself over the last few years. This is not only a chance for these two to showcase their talents but also a chance for Beyond to showcase that it has one of the most diverse rosters in all of wrestling.
